ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) – A construction worker is useless after a twist of fate at a building website in Ascension Parish. A spokesperson with Ascension Public Schools says that on Monday, Feb. 25, a subcontractor fell about 14 feet while operating on the Bullion Primary School creation website. He was transported to a local medical institution and later died from his injuries.
Family individuals diagnosed the man as Duane “Peanut” McLaughlin. The school system offers prayers to the sufferer’s circle of relatives and coworkers. Construction on the faculty has been briefly suspended while the overall contractor investigates to ensure all safety protocols have been nicely accompanied.
McLaughlin’s family informed WAFB that the man did now not have live coverage at the time of his death. Family participants have set up a GoFundMe account to pay the sufferer’s funeral fees.
