ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) – A construction worker is useless after a twist of fate at a building website in Ascension Parish. A spokesperson with Ascension Public Schools says at the morning of Monday, Feb. 25; a subcontractor fell about 14 feet at the same time as operating on the Bullion Primary School creation website. He was transported to a local medical institution, wherein he later died from his injuries.
Family individuals diagnosed the man as Duane “Peanut” McLaughlin. The school system offers its prayers to the sufferer’s circle of relatives and his coworkers. Construction on the faculty has been briefly suspended whilst the overall contractor investigates to ensure all safety protocols have been nicely accompanied.
McLaughlin’s family informed WAFB that the man did now not have live coverage at the time of his death. Family participants have set up a GoFundMe account to pay for the sufferer’s funeral fees.
